14 July 2010
After two full on nights with the birthday cakes, I was determined to get to bed before midnight. So I did, with the plan to get up early to make these pastries for SAVOURY WEDNESDAY! #2.
I think my body has adjusted to the 4-6 hour sleep routine and I woke just early enough to make 40 of these before work... I felt like a contestant on a cooking show racing against the clock!
Judging by the $5 notes in the donation box, people did go for the $5.00/2piece deal :) I was hoping to reach the $1000 mark today, unfortunately still came a bit short.
Amount raised today was $49.40
Meanwhile, the 15 minute back/neck massage at work today helped A LOT! Thinking I should book in for the Friday session as well...
I'm contemplating for a bake strike tomorrow as I'm going to DIA's very early breakfast tomorrow... contemplating....
WOW!!!!!! Was just updating the numbers and saw an unexpected donation of $44 on my campaign page from Elise :) A girl I've only met once at a friend's wedding! SO I DID BREAK THE $1000 MARK TODAY! yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy~~~~
maybe I could get away with a bake strike tomorrow? :D
Thank you Elise for making my day!
CONGRATULATIONS WITH $1000 MILESTONE!
