Thank god it's friday!
I finally made it through the first week finishing off with
some Extra chocolatey chocolate cake with white and dark choc ganache, Vanilla chocolate ganache cupcakes, Blueberry white choc chip yoghurt cake (my backup easy fast cake that you'll probably be seeing a lot!). Glazed and piped the letters in the morning so was a bit of a rush. Perhaps a bit carried away with so many items that needed to be mixed and baked separately... but I thought friday being staff meeting day = good business day, I'd have nearly everyone congregated in the boardroom!
However, the turn out wasn't as good as anticipated with a few people away from the office and people upstairs not making their way down...
Amount raised was $56.50. Thank you everyone for your generous support so far!
This week has definitely been exhausting as I didn't plan properly before I dived straight into baking. But I couldn't wait to start raising money as I have a time limit of less than three months! I have a few pimples to show for this week, but next week should be more laid back...
Now I just have to get through the weekend with the now FIVE birthday cake orders for next Monday and Tuesday! I think by mid next week people would be so over cakes already (I am!), so I might have to introduce more savoury days to the menu to keep up interest.
